After M. Ranjeet Singh, (1838-39) we, the Punjabis are in slavery mode, here and there, they penetrated themselves through Urdu and English and small amount of money (to replace Punjabi) in our minds, they have been succeeded and never left, they took our identity with them physically/psychologically and left theirs, which still is haunting and torturing us.
We, the Punjabis incongruously humiliate ourselves when we use our own language among us, in our homes among our own people, then, we unexpected laugh at ourselves in a way that hurts paradoxically more than the invaders did since invasions of arabs and british invaders.
British used/uses the Imperial Roman thought………”Divide and Rule” and it still is working. good for them, but bad for millions of humans in the subcontinent on the planet Mother Earth.
Diversity is a great tool for prosperous future, but having humanity on the same and equal level, where respect for a human is exercised without any ethnicity in mind. Punjabis still can regain their identity if they start working on it seriously, otherwise they are doomed to loose their leftovers too.
