3rd June-A Black day for Punjab

Seventy four years back ,on this fateful day through the infamous 3rd June plan,
a catastrophic and the most unfortunate decision of the division of great Punjab on communal basis was announced with utter disregard to the centuries old traditions of peaceful coexistence and unity of Punjab , the land of sufis and saints.The bitter fact is that the so called non- Punjabi leadership played a pivotal role in this horrific decision in collaboration with a few henchmen from Punjab who would never be forgiven by history for their criminal role .The Partition of Punjab was an unethical act just like performing a major surgery on an innocent patient while keeping him intentionally unaware of its possible rather fatal consequences.It amounts to criminal negligence on the part of those who were at the helm of affairs.It resulted in unparalleled massacres, bloodshed and uprooting of millions.
To justify the Partition, communal elements, fantastics , and extremists were given a free hand to intensify tension and hatred among Punjabi folks who had been living together peacefully since centuries in accordance with the Sufi and secular traditions.
Unfortunately ,up till now , Punjabis have not realised that actually Wahga, is a place to mourn the division of mighty Punjab and not to clap and rejoice over unjustifiable, irrational and uncalled for division of their sacred land forcibly implemented seventy one years back by the selfish stooges of British imperialism in collaboration with a few Punjabi traitors. It is indeed very painful to see that daily “TAMASHA” at Wahga continues till date.
